A new addition to AFB’s European operations
We’re thrilled to announce that Mark Vossenaar has joined AFB International as General Manager, Europe. Based in the Netherlands, his arrival marks a new era of innovation and collaboration for our European operations.
In his new role, Mark will oversee all aspects of AFB’s European business, influencing departments across R&D and Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. His mission? To strengthen our market presence, align regional strategies, and foster a culture of partnership and excellence. Mark’s leadership will ensure that our teams across Europe work closely together, delivering fresh solutions for pet food palatability and driving value for our customers and partners.
Mark brings more than 30 years of global experience in the life sciences, diagnostics, and biopharmaceutical sectors. At previous employers, he led transformational growth, scaled organizations, and consistently delivered sustainable business results. When asked about his new role, Mark shared, “I’m genuinely excited to join AFB International and work alongside such talented colleagues. The opportunity to help shape the future of pet nutrition in Europe is inspiring, and I look forward to what we can achieve together.”
Included in Mark’s hobbies and passions, he is actively involved in supporting the Dutch Cancer Foundation and local children’s initiatives, reflecting his commitment to both community and personal wellbeing.
